WKND RECAP+LANCOME OSCILLATION MASCARA

long time no blog, yeah? well atleast that's what it feels like - but i'm here! =D so how was ya'lls weekend? mine was good, celebrated babe$terz 22nd bday! had a tiring but FUN weekend.

i won't get into detail, bc i said i wouldn't anymore, haha, but dinner was good - we hit the club afterwards and the one we went to had Mya as a special guest. remember her? yeah, she fell off the face of the earth haha jk. i don't know where's been in the music scene, but i know she's been gettin her clubbin' on! haha. she looked good, as always - i forgot my fuckin camera so i didn't take ANY pictures in the club - i was bummbed, REAL HARD. dah well, whatever. i'll leave you with a picture from dinner, though.

&this is the look i wore that night. i didn't want to wear eyeshadow, but for the occasion, i did.
i used SOFT BROWN e/s in the midsection, SHALE e/s on the lid, CARBON e/s in the outer V. and i did my "kinky" hairstyle for the night - which quickly went flat at the club.

LANCOME Oscillation Mascara

i had the chance to try this mascara recently, and may i say, it is pretty amazing! i had NO idea it was able to vibrate until i'm like, "what the hell does this little button do?!" then i pressed it and "BAM!" it scared the hell out of me ahahahaha. i've heard of these vibrating mascaras before but never had the urge to try any out. since my girlfriend had it, i'm like hey why not - i gave it a go.

the brush is TEENIE TINY - it's not a bad thing, to me atleast. the bristles were basically non-existent but it helped with separating the lashes and coating each lash. the vibrating component actually made a difference!! it felt as if it put A LOT more product onto my lashes and gave it great length and volume without the work of wiggling the mascara wand back and forth! *whew ahaha. the vibration isn't extreme. it's manageable. it's actually really frickin' cool!

this is what my eyelashes looked like after using the Lancome Oscillation Mascara. i know, they look a little crooked, but it's really my eyes - one is kinda different than the other ahaha. but check out the length! WHOOO!

i have pretty long lashes to begin with, but compared to other mascaras, Lancome's Oscillation did an amaaaaazing job! i got similar results using MAC zoomlash, but Lancome's is LESS clumpy. however, MAC is only $12 and Lancome is $21. i wouldn't pay a difference of $10 just for the vibration - MAC zoomlash is just as good, in my opinion. BUT i definately recommend this mascara - it's one of my favorites now! if you're looking for great length and good volume, try this mascara out!




well, i'm uploading a new youtube video - a tutorial i did with my girlfriend, Desi. it's a light pink &blue look that she usually wears and it looks FANTASTIC on her. she's fairly light skinned, about a NW20 in MAC. these colors don't wash her out or stand out too much at all - it's almost perfect, i think. but this look definately would look good for all skin complextions - i'm gonna try it out soon! so check out the video =)
